What’s Currently in My Amazon Cart

March 13, 2024

I know I’m not the only one who has a cartful of potential purchases on Amazon.  It’s way too easy to see something I like and add it to the mix with just the click of a button.  Most of the time, they are moved to the “Save for Later” section because I’m not quite ready to buy, but I want to remember them for if/when I am.  Anyway, I recently took a good look at all of the items that have collected there, and thought it would be fun to do a post about what’s currently in my cart.  Spending more time looking at the products has actually made me finally want to click “Checkout” for some of them… and maybe you do, too. Here’s a peek into my cart and possibly some inspiration imparted as well.

Quilted Tote
I’ve been seeing these big quilted tote bags everywhere lately, like here and here. Of course, Amazon has them at a much lower price point. I also like this one in a fun, bright color for the summer.

Print Tablecloth
I love a print tablecloth.  Not only does a colorful pattern like this hide stains, it creates an aesthetic for the occasion it’s being used for.  This one seems like it could work in all seasons, too.

Casual Jumpsuit
This jumpsuit looks as comfortable as it is cute.  And it has pockets, which is always a plus, imo.

Crochet Coverup
This is the coverup style now (per our recent visit to Miami), and it’s great — pretty and light enough to throw over a swimsuit.  Very likely going to pull the trigger on it for our Spring Break trip.

Spice Organizer
This looks like a perfect solution to the spice situation in my cabinet.  Makes use of all the shelf space, even though spice bottles tend to be small.  And how handy that it pulls out, so you don’t have to dig for anything at the back.

Fun Bathmat
Who says a bathmat has to be rectangular?  This hexagon shape would go perfectly with the tile in my kids’ bathroom.  This gray flower/star shape is also pretty, and this yellow mat would brighten any room.

Storage Shelves
Speaking of the kids’ bathroom, I recently added these to my cart as a possible way to organize all their products, which seem to end up cluttered around their sink.  The bar for a hand towel is a nice little bonus.

Knockaround Sunglasses
I have Knockarounds in two other colors and love them.  I added the red ones to my cart because I dig them, too.  And you really can’t beat the price.

Fridge Bins
This set of bins has been in my cart for awhile because I’ve been threatening to organize our refrigerator for months now, but haven’t gotten around to it. Maybe if I buy them, I’ll finally do it?

Mesh Beach Bag
A mesh bag for the beach makes a lot of sense, since sand will easily shake out.  Plus, lots of room and extra pockets for towels, sunscreen, water bottles, and  other beach accessories.

Knit Set
I have this Free People dupe in black and love it!  I wear it as a set, and the top and pants separately, too.  Considering another, lighter color, I like it that much.

Floor Lamp

I’m not looking for a floor lamp right now, but I saw this somewhere and really liked it, so saved it in my cart in case I needed it later.  Maybe someone else needs it now.

Carryon Luggage
This seems like a perfect set with the rolling luggage plus the large travel bag that sits nicely atop it, plus a good-sized toiletry case.  All for less than $100. And it has a good rating with over 1,700 reviews.

Pressure Washer
Okay, I know this one is super random, but we recently power washed our patio, and it was one of the best spruce-ups we’ve done. It washed away all of the dirt and moss that had accumulated on the bricks over the winter and re-whitened the furniture cushions, too. Even better, seeing the grime wash away and the contrast of the clean/unclean is unbelievably satisfying! We had rented the power washer from Home Depot, but we’re thinking if we do this a few times a year, perhaps we should purchase our own.
