In case you hadn’t noticed, Black Friday, for many stores, begins well before the day after Thanksgiving. This is great for those of us trying to do some holiday shopping without a last minute scramble. It’s also a good time to snag deals on things you’ve been eyeing but waiting to go on sale. So, I thought I’d make one simple list of links to the sales I saw that looked good. There are also a few items I like and categories of items to make browsing a little easier. Happy shopping!
Adidas – Up to 60% off. Really good for teen gifts (actually, adults and younger kids, too). Lots of good hoodies, classic sneakers, sporty bags, and much more.
Aerie – 40% off everything. Think gifts for teen girls… and maybe even their moms, too.
Amazon – Sooo much on sale and some amazing deals to score! A good time to get that fancy coffee machine, headphones and ear buds that always make great gifts, all kinds of fun games, apparel for everyone, snow bibs for kids, , beauty products (highly recommend the Dyson), and just about every other kind of prooduct you can think of.
American Eagle – 40-50% off everything. A great time to get clothes for t(w)eens — boys and girls.
Anthropologie – 30% off most regular-priced items. Extra 50% off sale. I recommend the jeans… always a great selection, but on the pricey side, so it’s a good time to snag a pair (or two). Take advantage, as it’s very rare that non-sale inventory is discounted. And the deals on sale items are obviously fantastic.
Athleta – 30% off everything. I just got the Ranier tights and Forever Fleece sweatshirt and love both. There’s so much more to browse, too.
Backcountry – Up to 70% off. Loads of good deals on outdoor gear and clothes, like North Face jackets , kids boots, and travel bags and accessories.
Best Buy – Discounts vary, but their Black Friday Sale includes items like Apple Watches, 55″ TVs, smart glasses, major appliances, even toys.
Brooklinen – 25% off. Their linens get raves, so now is a great time to get some and try for yourself — or give to someone else to try.
DSW – 30% off almost everything with code BLACKFRIDAY. This includes some Ugg styles, kids (and adult) sneakers, all kinds of bags, and more.
Dick’s – Up to 50% off. Along with sportswear and gear, go for the portable tabletop Solo Stove in so many nice colors.
H&M – 30% off everything. Their kids collection is fantastic and so well-priced, even without the sale.
Hanna Andersson – 50% off every. single. thing. This includes the much-loved pajamas (the best for kids)!
Gap – 50% off sitewide. And 60% off some really big deals. The CashSoft collection is really nice if you want to give/get a cashmere-like gift at a budget price. Also great to stock up on basics sweats and t-shirts.
Lands’ End – 50% off + an extra 12% off (why don’t they just say 62?). Great for kids’ winter gear, sleepwear, cozy blankets, and more.
lululemon – Realllly good deals. Everything from tights (truly the best for working out) to all kinds of jackets to the their awesome bags for everyone. Already snagged gifts for my fam (and me).
Madewell – 40% off purchase, and up to 70% off sale style with code LETSGO. Sooo many things that would make great gifts, like this sweater, this Pavé necklace, and this men’s jacket.
Naadam – Up to 50% off, just about all of it cashmere…sweaters, pants, dresses, tank tops, lounge wear and more for women and men.
Nordstrom – Discounts vary, but there are a lot of them… on clothes, shoes, home and decor, jewelry, beauty products, and more, including Uggs for eveyone, a beautiful leather tote, a men’s Barbour sweater, a nice necklace, and all kinds of stuff for kids.
Overstock – Up to 60% off + extra 10 % off with code THANKS10. Lots of deals on already discounted home items, apparel, and more.
Quince – 30% off select styles during this one-day sale. The quality is always so good for the price on their items.
Rag & Bone – 25% off site wide, some exclusions. I love their featherweight denim, and the Miramar “sweatpant jeans” are intriguing. Their clothing for women and men is pricey, so this sale is a great time to shop.
REI – Up to 50% gear and clothing, including Vuori tops and bottoms, HOKA sneakers, Arc’teryx everything, and so much more.
Ruggable – Up to 30% off. We just bought our first Ruggable a few months ago and love it. It looks great and is machine washable (though we haven’t tried it yet), and there are so many nice patterns.
Target – Black Friday deals include discounts on everything from holiday decor to Apple Air Tags to video games to air fryers to Oura Rings — to eveything in between.
Tea Collection – Up to 60% off some of the sweetest clothes for littles.
Ugg – Up to 50% off select styles — and there are many selected!
Ulta – Up to 50% off. It’s a good time to snag great hair products, try a new scent, or stock up on your favorite skin care.
Urban Outfitters – 40% off entire purchase. Known best for teen shopping, but they also have fun decor and more for the home as well as unique giftables like pop culture books, retro games, and lots of good stocking stuffers.
Wayfair – Up to 80% off. There is so much included in every home category you can think of, so just go have a browse.
West Elm – Up to 70% off. Not only can you find nice gifts to give, if there’s a piece of furniture or something else you’ve had your eye on, there’s a chance it’s now on sale.
World Market – Deals vary, but you get extra 20% off if you’re a member (free to join) and 10% off some items if you pick up. I find the store particularly good for hostess gifts as well as holiday decor — a huge selection of tree ornaments.
